SAG AWARDS 2013

Well as we all know the SAG awards were on last night.  What I like about this show is that it is short and to the point and the awards are voted on by your fellow actor.  There were no Best Director awards but the important awards were given out which was what mattered most here are the list of winners from Last night:

Now to my Favorite part the Fashion!! 

I thought that I would separate my BEST Dressed with my 5 Best dressed woman from Film and 5 from TV. I find this was only fair since there was just way too much fashion out there to pick 5 Best from both.  I did the same for my worst Dressed Lets Begin!

BEST DRESSED- TV

1. Nina Dobrev In Elie Saab- I absolutely love this dress.  And Nina has the perfect Figure to pull it off.  the colour was bright but not over the top.  Simple and elegant she picked the right dress

2. Sarah Hyland In Dolce&Gabbana This Modern Family cutie showed that even the Young can pick the right dress I love the colour purple and how she looks sophisticated  and grown up. Well Done!

3. Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta- The funny Greek Goddess wowed in this Black number and showed that funny can be stunning. 

4.  Jane Krakowski in Kaufmanfranco- Now this is a dress The 30 Rock Beauty looks ravishing! I loved the peachy color on this and the cut and the way it fell just everything!

5. Lea Michele in Valentio- Now doing some research on the web I noticed that Our little Gleek landed on some people's Worst Dressed for this choice.  Not to worry Lea I sing your praises in this bright pink number! 

Alas now I am going all Mean Girls as we head over to the WORST dressed list for TV Now all these ladies are beautiful.. the just made really bad choices OR their stylists made really bad choices  Here we go..

WORST DRESSED-TV

1. January Jones in Prabal Gurung- The Mad Men Star should have been Mad at her stylist for picking this number out for her She should have been Mad at her hair stylist too  Yikes!

2. Naya Rivera- The Glee Star hit a sour note with this dress choice. It looks like she is going to a Star Trek Convention

3. Sofia Vergara in Donna Karen-  No no no!! the Modern Family Star looked like her dress was being held together b some flimsy pins.  It was a huge Fail.  It did nothing to highlight her curvy beautiful body I think someone is looking for their satin sheets. 



4. Claire Danes in Givanchy- Now this was quite a disappointment I was actually really looking forward to seeing Claire because she always wears amazing outfits. But this was just wrong on so many levels. combined with the messy hair and 80's makeup it was a Homeland nightmare

5. Julianna Margulies in Chado Ralph Rucci- Hi I am going to take a sheet and wrap it around a tank top and call it a dress.  The Good Wife should make good Fashion choices!!

OK Before we dive into the 5 Best and Worst dressed ladies from the Movie Side lets take a moment to relax and Enjoy some of the beautiful Men From last night Here were my top 5 picks:

1. Bradley Cooper- *Drool*  I love him and yesterday on the red carpet he spoke french and I melted into a pool jelly This man is Perfect Silver linings? more like Hunky Linings.

2. Hugh Jackman- I love this Guy and his Australian accent he can just sit and talk to me about nothing just so I can hear it. It is just the cherry on top of this fine pie. 

3. Eddie Redmayne- Brown chocolate velvety goodness... And he has that sexy British accent.  I am sold. 

4. Justin Timberlake-  Who else can make Plaid look so good. Suit and Tie Indeed and he looks mighty fine in it.  Bringing Sexy Back?? I think so!



5. Ben Affleck- he is too adorable that it hurts.  How cute was he last night we all need to find a man who loves his wife like he does.  She is one lucky woman cute, sweet, nice and handsome to boot!

Ok Ok Still with me guys lets exit the drool land of sexy men and get to the last lists!

BEST DRESSED- MOVIES

1. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture- She is probably my favorite pick of the night!  She is too adorable and even though she suffered a wardrobe malfunction when she won her award the Silver Linings Playbook winner didn't skip a beat.  And Bradly Cooper was her costar in the Movie Winner all around!

2. Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen-  To me the Zero Dark Thirty star really knocked it out of the park with this dress I like it way better then her Golden Globes choice.  Red is really her color!

3. Helen Hunt in Romona Keveza- Besides me thinking she has the best name ever I loved this dress on her.  She sparkled her way onto Best Dressed list's everywhere!

4. Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta- She is so cute and her husband is so cute and they are so cute together And  I am so sure he was proud to parade her around  and show her off last night she looked so beautiful!

5. Naomi Watts in Marchesa- It was not impossible to look stunning last night in this gown Just beautiful

OK one more round of the worst Dressed now. Here we go Again all the woman are beautiful their choices just were not

WORST DRESSED- MOVIES

1. Anne Hathaway in Giambatt Ista Valli- The Les Miserable star should have been miserable when she walked out in this dress Lets hope that she picks something better for the Oscars



2. Julianne Moore in Chanel- The whole night I was just  praying her boob wont fall out of the dress. It just seemed a little Yonge for her

3. Nicole Kidman in Vivienne Westwood- Now Nicole landed in a lot of people's Best dressed for this number but I am sorry I just didn't like  the dress on her the sheer number just was wrong.  She has yet to impress me with a great dress choice

4. Viola Davis in Monique Lhuillier- You know you will end up on a worst dressed list when you can see your slip through your dress!  Whoops!! 

5. Sigourney Weaver- Just..... What in the Hell..

I want to start off by apologizing for not posting on the Golden Globes I wanted to I really did BUT I got hit with the worst flu/cold EVER!!!  It was not pretty and therefore I was too sick to blog I couldn't even lift my head off my pillow I really wanted to post the fashion was amazing!

Sadly it is way too late to post about it now BUT lucky for me the SAG award are on tonight and they are kind of like the Golden Globes because it honors movie and TV so Lots of Fashion and Be sure to check back I will have a FULL LIST of winners and of course my top 5 best and worst dressed of the night and honorable mentions. 

People's Choice 2013 Recap

Now to the super fun part! My first Best and worst dressed!! Since there are many more awards shows to come there will be many more posts! but since this in my first time blogging about it I am very excited!

BEST DRESSED MALE
Now all the men looked so very dapper and handsome yesterday however here are my picks for best dressed.. Yes I am a sucker for a good looking man in a suit! So lets get started!

Matt Bomer- This man would look in a paper bag.  He is just beautiful!  Matt didn't disappoint in this sleek number.. I am weak in the knees Matt!

2. Ian Somerhalder- I can see why the ladies call him Ian SMOLDERhalder. He is doing just that in this stunning black suit Simple but ohhh so Hot!

3. Jensen Ackels and Jared Padalecki- Ahh these Supernatural boys how adorable are they as you noticed they had to have coordinated their outfits Jensen in the Purple suit jacket and black shirt Jared Black shirt and a purple tie.  Both looked fabulous!

4. Adam Levine- Ohh Adam there are no words to describe how utterly delicious you are He wears this Blue Suit so well!.... YUM 

Now that I have wiped all my drool off the floor from the hot men above lets turn our attention to the Ladies!  Here were my BEST dressed last night

1. Kaley Cuoco in Lorena Sarbu - She had many outfit changes last night but this Lorena Sarbu number was the favorite for me. it was full of sparkle and the soft pink color was perfect!

2.Rumer Willis in Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet - Continuing with sparkle Rumer OWNED this dress!

3. Rachael Cook in Oliver Tolentino- This is probably my top pick for the night Loved the color and the flow of the dress so romantic

4.Taylor Swift in Ralph Lauren Collection dress- what a bold choice the low neck line makes this dress just daring enough and I am sure the talk of all the fashion police out there!  she made a statement in this beautiful dress! Can we say Harry eat your heart out!

5. Sandra Bulock in a Vera Wang corset and pencil skirt- Who doesn't love Sandra she is uber adrobz!  She rocked this outfit she takes simplicity to the next level!

6. Jennifer Lawrence in a  Valentino Couture dress- I loved this dress on her sleek sexy and fabulous Rock it Girl!

Now we have to go to the Dark side my friends.. Yes the WORST dressed of the night These fashionistas missed the mark

1. Katy Perry in a Valentino dress- Such a beautiful girl and it really looked like she raided her grandma's closet and found a old dress this just was terrible and way to old for this young lass!

  

2. Heidi Klum in Julien McDonald- Yes She is a super Model and she is supposed to look good in everything right.... Well everything but this dress I am sorry the way the top is cut did not work at all

3. Chloe Moretz in a Simone Rocha flower dress- Quick Chloe hide before a band of bees start to come after you!  This dress was way to bright and looked like she took curtains from the 70's and made it into a dress come on sweetheart you are soo cute... you can do better!

 

4. Tracy Spiridakos in Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet- OH my this is just frumpy, wrong and does not flatter the killer body I am sure she has

5. Emma Watson in Peter Pilotto  - Quick cast a spell and turn this dress into something fabulous!  This just was all over the place and after looking at it for a while I got a headache

6. Olivia Munn in Carolina Hererra- Why why why do these beautiful women do this Olivia you are beautiful but why did you wear this dress WHY!!

People Choice Awards tomorrow

Well the people's Choice awards are tomorrow and I am excited For lots of reasons:

1. I get to post my first fashion blog of  all the Red Carpet Looks! 
2. I love this awards show because fans vote and pick the winners which is what awards shows should be about.  It really shows the loyalty people have to thier favorite actor and actress.

A wonderous City

I wanted to take a moment today to take about a place everyone should visit. A Canadian Gem. I am talking about Vancouver Canada. Full of breathtaking views, restaurants, shops, trails, beaches, and adventures. When you drive on the roads you are surrounded by breathtaking views on the Mountains

I have to say one of the greatest things I did when I first visited Vancouver back in 2007 was accidentally stumble on a beautiful place that was probably one of the best walks of my life.  My friend and I got dropped off at Oak street (which is right off of King Edward Ave and we started to just take a walk around the area. The houses there are the most beautiful I have seen.   

they are on various streets but Try taking a stroll down Matthews Ave or Selkirk you wont be disappointed! 

If you want to visit a great restaurant there are plenty to choose from I have to recommend Joey on Burrard Street it is located right across from the Sutton place hotel

Or take a trip to Yaletown and make sure you visit Blue water Cafe+raw bar you want seafood here is where you can sample Vancouver's finest!

I will admit it I am very picky when it comes to staying in a hotel but the main thing that is important to me is the service who likes going and checking in somewhere with a grumpy staff I sure don't!  Once place that always rises above the Bar is the Sutton Place Hotel.  You have two options here One stay in a room OR stay at the Sutton La Grande Residence and have your own little apartment with a full kitchen!  They recently remodeled the rooms and they look beautiful . The staff is the BEST I have seen always friendly and helpful an A+ for sure

Vancouver is a wonderful City with fantastic views great food and so much to do and see put it on your list of places to go visit you wont fall short of things to do
