SAG Awards Fashion: Best dressed Women and Men

I apologize for my lack of posting.  I have been doing most of my fashion Best dressed reviews on TikTok but I also want to commit to by blog more, so I thought as we inch closer to the Oscars lets look at some of the SAG awards fashion from last night.  

I have to be honest,there have been a few awards shows but the fashion was not really something that caught my attention.  The only one that I really missed out on was the BAFTA's so I apologize for that. 

SO lets get into it. The fashion was so on point I had such a hard time narrowing down my picks!  I am going to start with my overall BEST DRESSED. 

Zendaya takes the top spot for my  best dressed of the night!  This Valentino gown left me speechless!  what is not to love about this dress the color, the roses on the bottom, the fit.  It's perfection!

Next we have the beautiful Queen of Wakanda herself, Angela Bassett.  She wore Giambattista Valli. I love when vibrant color appears on the red carpet, and this yellow shines bright!  She just looks like a bright shining sun, and I am all for it!

Next we go from shining bright to the dark of night, with Cara Delevingne in this Caroline Herrera pant suit.  I love love love this it can give the illusion of being a dress so it serves its fancy purpose, then we have the oh so popular pant suit under there. She is just so beautiful.  

Sticking with Black gowns we have Cate Blanchett in this Giorgio Armani gown.  This is all kinds of sexy in all the right kinds of ways.  I love the little lace on top it softens the gown just the right amount.  this shimmery black ( looks like latex and I say that in a great way!) material does the rest.  Work it Cate!

Danielle Deadwyler looks like the most beautiful mermaid in this Louis Vuitton gown.  the gown is elegant and soft. The bottom gives just enough drama.  and I love that she puller her hair back for this look. And Sparkle is never ever a bad idea when you wear a beauty like this dress!

Next we have my girl Jenna Ortega in Versace.  Showing off a little leg and just looking amazing!  I love the single shoulder strap and the Material of this gown.  Its shiny in a beautiful way.  Not sure if that is a skort or skirt but does it really matter girl is slaying in this dress!

Who doesn't love a sleek tight body hugging dress?  Jennifer Coolidge sure does and this White Lotus beauty looks stunning in this Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello Gown.   She always knocks it out of the park. 

We have a theme, the black dress was front and center but worn so many ways.  Like Jenny Slate in Zuhair Murad.  The top piece is perfectly woven into this gown and is the front and center of this dress. As it should be.

Pink comes back on the red carpet with this beautiful dress by Zuhair Murad.  The only thing is I would have maybe accessorized a bit more but I love the retro vibe.

 

Meghann Fahy dazzles in this beautiful white gown by Ralph Lauren.  I love the cut outs on the side it brings that sexiness to this dress but it is still elegant. 

Quinta Brunson always brings her A game to the red carpet and she did it again with this Jean Louis Sabaji Gown.  It has sparkle and style and it is unique.  The white shell top with the sparkle bottom that looks like tiny tassels. it gives a 60s vibe for sure.  10/10

Finally for the ladies we have Viola Davis ending my picks on a super bright note.  This yellow Valentino gown just makes me feel happy looking at it.  Its so simple but the impact shines brighter than the sun. 

NOW lets get to the Sexy gentleman from last night

 

First is Adam Dimarco in Dior Men.  It's a black tux but Adam makes it the sexy black tux. 

next is Andrew Garfield in this Valentino Suit.  the slightly open white shirt on this suit.... He is dripping of Hotness.  Excuse my while I wipe my drool off the floor. 

Next is Austin Butler in this Gucci Tux.  I love the maroon color and I also love the retro vibe this is giving.  Of course Austin can pull it off, he did Gucci proud. 

Next is Barry Keoghan in Louis Vuitton.  I really enjoy a white tux on a red carpet.  And Barry wears this oh so well.  Chefs kiss!

OK lets just stop and admire this amazing Tux by Gucci that Diego Calva is wearing.  Matt Bomber wore something similar to the Emmys.  the crushed velvet Jacket is giving me all the feels and I love the brown color as well. 

Eddie Redmayne is always one of my favorites because he steps outside the box.  This not everyone can pull off, but Eddie is giving me the Bridgerton energy with this Saint Laurent ensemble, and he is British I mean the combo is just sexy at its best.

Last but not least is Theo James in this Louis Vuitton Suit.  He is also British.  I have to say he is my favorite from the SAG awards.  The rugged sexiness this man gives off.  He is also Greek like me. so we can officially say he is Greek God hot. :)

Emmy's 2022 Fashion!

The Emmys were last night and what a night it was!  The fashion was on point and it was so hard narrowing down who I thought was the best dressed because everyone truly brought their A game!  So I am just going to get right into it! Get ready this is gonna be a long one.. I mean it's the EMMYS!!  

First my top pick for the BEST dressed of the night...

OMG Zendaya in Valentino.  This man knows how to design a dress!  When I am on the Red carpet one day I want to be so lucky to get to wear one of his gowns.. anyway back to this dress.  Its elegance, class, and beauty.  Zendaya did it PROUD she was nominated ( and won!) for her role in Euphoria. Congrats to her and to her just rocking this dress!

Next we have Amanda Seyfried who was nominated for ( and won!) for her Lead Acting role in The Dropout ( she was also nominated for the Producer in The Dropout). She stunned  in Armani Prive.  this soft purple sparkle dress just fell so perfect on her.  Sparkle was a theme this year.

Elle Fanning was nominated for her role in "The Great" wore a stunning Black and Pink dress designed by her costume designer on the show Sharon Long. Well done Sharon This form fitting dress with the soft pink pop just wowed me.  She truly did look great!

How much do I love Hannah Waddingham in this STUNNER from Dolce & Gabbana.  This was honestly my second choice for top best dressed of the night.  This is giving me princess vibes and who would not want to feel like a princess at the Emmy's. She was nominated for Ted Lasso (which is one of my Favorite shows)  and she was truly a winner in my books with this dress last night.  

  

Next we have Issa Rae nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Insecure.  There was nothing to feel Insecure about in this beautiful custom white and black dress by Sergio Hudson.  I love the little cut out in the front Simple but it makes that WOW statement. 

Who doesn't like the look of a leather piece?  Jasmine Savoy Brown SLAYED in this dress.  She brought unique, edgy, and Rockstar to the Emmys with this dress by Christopher Kane.  

Kerry Washington was nominated in the Outstanding Varity special category as an executive producer just owned this dress by Elie Sabb Couture. Sometimes the dress can take you over but Kerry owned the dress and stood out like a beautiful flower.  I mean that train!

Like I said before Sparkle shone at the Emmys last night.  And Lily James nominated for her role as Pamela Anderson in Pam & Tommy sure sparkled in this Versace gown.  She looks like an award herself. I love the color the way it fits, just stunning!

Lets keep that sparkle coming!  Here is Christina Ricci nominated as supporting actress in Yellowjackets,  in this beautiful Fendi gown. Can I say I love how her clutch matched the dress!  this was just a visual piece. She embodied classic Hollywood and she wore it so well!   

My Girl Lizzo!  She was nominated and Won for outstanding competition program.  I just love her!  I love her music I love how kind she is, and I LOVE this Giambattista Valli gown she was wearing.  I mean first she just stole the show at the MTV awards and now she stole the show again with this Hot Red number.  She can do no wrong.   

Another princess dress!  Melanie Lynskey was nominated in the best Actress in a Drama series for her role in Yellowjackets and she just floated like a beautiful cloud in this pale blue Christian Siriano Gown.  The softness, the ruffles, the color 10 out of 10.

Can we say "work it girl" for Emmy Nominee for a Supporting Actress for While Lotus  Natasha Rothwell!  She looked breathtaking in a custom merlot-colored silk taffeta gown from Safiyaa.

A double nominee! Outstanding Actress in a comedy for Abbot Elementary  and winner for writing in Pilot.  Quinta Brunson gets a A++++ from me for this Dolce & Gabbana Copper/Bronze glitzy dress.  Look at the train it just looks like silky copper/bronze shiny liquid.   

Reese Witherspoon who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for the amazing show The Morning show, took my breath away when I saw her in this Blue Armani Prive Gown.  I told you Sparkle was the name of the game. I am so in love with this dress I cant even....

To round off the stunning best dressed ladies is Sydney Sweeney.  Sydney was nominated twice in the supporting actress category for Euphoria and While Lotus.  Can I just say Trains on dresses were also a big thing at the Emmy's this year.  and this floral Oscar De La Renta beauty  fell beautifully on her. 

Now the Gentleman!

I put all of these stunning men in one to show off how each of them rocked the white suit or more common the Tuxedo.  

Andrew Garfield who was a nominee for Outstanding Lead actor in a Limited or Anthology Series for his role in Under the Banner of Heaven Looked so great in his white Zegna suit. I enjoyed the open shirt no tie look ;)

Next we have John Legend who performed an emotional rendition of “Pieces" from his new album at the In Memoriam segment of the show.  and again wore his Gucci Suit well.

Nicholas Braun who was nominated in the best supporting Actor category for his role in Succession did not disappoint in this Dior Men suit.  This man knows how to rock the white suit.

Seth Rogan who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Anthology Series or Movie for his role in Pam & Tommy wore a tuxedo from Brunello Cucinelli  it went well with the blonde hair so crisp and clean!

Moving along we have Bowen Yang who was nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a comedy series for his work in Saturday Night Live. I love this pattern on the This tux by Etro.  This is unique and I am digging it. 

I love a man in a suit but I love a man in a sexy tux even more, and Brett Goldstein who WON for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy for Ted Lasso looks delicious in this. I don't know who he was wearing I am gonna guess Gucci.  

Himesh Patel who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Anthology Series or Movie for his work in Station Eleven, takes the tux to a new level in this Ozwald Boateng design.  Its a step away from the traditional white or Black tux and I am feeling it.

Sebastian Stan, The Winter Solider.  You know I have to give a nod to the MCU man ;)  He was nominated in the  Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Anthology Series or Movie for his fantastic work in Pam & Tommy and my friends THIS is how you wear a suit!  

Then Last but certainly not least we have Toheeb Jimoh  who was nominated with his co star Brett Goldstein for Outstanding supporting Actor in a Comedy. He looked so dapper and handsome in this Pale blue wrap suit.  I love the modern twist on the classic suit indeed 

MTV VMA AWARDS FASHION 2022

 Well it has been a while my last fashion post was in 2016 so lets get right into it.  

The VMA awards were held last night and there was no shortage of fashion on the Red Carpet.  Some questionable to us but I get it you want to make a statement and fashion is an expression of who you are so we might not understand it but one message that is never said enough is "be who you are"

So here are my pics for the fashion that stood out to me. Some I thought were just amazing, some well to each his own I guess lets get started!

This was my pick of the night. To me Taylor Swift can never do wrong and this Oscar De La Renta piece with the shoes that matched perfectly was a chef's kiss for me!  

Next was Ashly Graham wearing Houghton.  It was just beautiful.  Her body is a temple and this dress just highlighted that.  Just stunning!

Bebe Rexha in Vivienne Westwood.  Can we talk about that sexy slit?  Gurl 1000% yes!  

Chloe Bailey in Zigman.  She did the Moon Man proud in the beautiful silver sparkle gown.  This was VMA red carpet perfection.  

Rachel Smith stunned in this Oscar De La Renta mini.  The designer hit it out of the park for me with the fashion last night!  

I am all for a color pop in a gown and this one nailed it. Sabrina Carpenter looked breathtaking in this Moschino gown. LOVE LOVE LOVE! 

I loved Taylor Rooks dress last night. I could not find the designer but I want it!  Someone help me out! 

Here is another dress that I could not find the designer to give them credit.  Trina Njoroge looks like a Angel in this dress.  

My girl Lizzo, She rocks everything she wears and I just adore her.  I think she is the only one who could have pulled this look off.  Work it baby!

We cant forget the men and the fashion. Jack Harlow is a good place to start in this Hermes Suit.  YES please. First class indeed.

Next Danny Ramirez in Saint Laurent.  Top Gun style sir.

My favorite look from the males of the evening goes to Jonny Middlebrooks.  I don't know who he is is wearing I just know he looks FINE!!
